PALM DESERT, Calif. – August 7, 2023 – Amy Sport, a leader in fashion for players, has partnered with Teal Thron of First Tee to represent Amy Sport as a brand ambassador. Amy Sport has supported The First Tee Coachella Valley since 2018, and through this partnership and other activities, will continue to support and participate in ongoing First Tee fundraisers that support the nonprofit’s mission of empowering kids and teens through the game of golf.
First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build strength of character by seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, and active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. There are 150 chapters of First Tee serving over 3 million youth annually.
Thron has been involved with First Tee in various capacities over the course of her career. In 2020, she accepted the Executive Director position for The First Tee Coachella Valley, and in June of this year she accepted the role with First Tee Headquarters to oversee 26 chapters of First Tee in small and midsized markets west of the Mississippi River.
